Have you ever worked in a snack bar located on a sun drenched beach? The Beach Hut Window series of paintings are painted from that vantage point. The artist is on the inside looking out. Partially clothed bronze bodies, are fragmented and framed by the Beach Hut Window. The artist longs to escape from the confinement of the darkened inside space and play amongst the beautiful people in the white hot sun. Money in hand, customers line up to place their order to quench their thirst and hunger, to receive sustenance from those confined in the darkened foreground.
